Next City
Excursions on Future Living and Lifestyles
Next City - Excursions on Future and Living Lifestyles project offered two master classes as a part of a semester-long Next City program. Both were used as a think-tank environment aiming to identify main design themes for cross disciplinary and cross cultural collaboration within this project.
Participants explored various urban phenomena related to cities of Rotterdam and Beijing and analysed them on the scale of the city as well as on the scale of the individual user. The scope of the analysis focused on issues such as: identity, mobility, recreation, dwelling, community life, symbolic meaning, iconic figure and other related forms of living and lifestyle.
